thank you so much for all your birthday wishes to ashley!! she'll have a little party tomorrow at her class and another at home and i'll be making her favourite jelly :) my favourite too! it's not the taste of it that we like though... it is when it's made by my mom. a family tradition i should say, which my mom always make for me on my birthday! so i just try to carry on with the tradition except with the taste which i'd failed to keep up :/

and hoorah! i finally finished this new bag! i wanted to try something new and lowing down the cuteness a bit ;) which i think this one is more towards the zakka look? lol . anyway, i like it. it's certainly more toned down from my previous totes and the straps are more longer to carry on shoulder.

and the interesting part (for me) is the brooch. i know.. it's nothing new! lol. but wait. i'd pin it on the back side which i think, it would be too crowded to have it infront. and to my surprise it's look kinda neat to have it in centre. it added a design rather than just a brooch :) do ya think so?

i really like this wooden ring on the strap compared to metal clasp for more matching with the wooden button i'd used for the closure. and i really like this little leaf which i found last week!! it's so lovely to use it as zipper pull! it's so hard to find zippers that have original little zipper pull attached .. do you see any online?


"All hands hoay!" lol. don't you just love pirates?!! :) these are the little goodie bag i'd mentioned earlier. something extra to send out with every etsy order. i love this print! it's from michael miller fabrics and it's so cute to have them squared! the little bag will be fill with the lovely hearts candle! AND more nice stuff for sure! :)
