brownie!

edit : little brownie is no more reserved and welcoming anyone at my etsy :)

lol! i really don't know why i named it brownie! maybe because of the colors combi + the little polka icing? :) and i like it so much!! oh my, i must stop lovin' it too much coz i need to send it away soon :{ and i'm sure i'll be missing my little brownie but at the same time i'm quite excited too coz this would be my first sale!

but i have doubts~

i'm so happy when i know people like my little houses and even more thrill when they asked to buy one but i'm quite reluctant to make and sell my felt houses. one of the main reason is , they all are made of acrylic felt, built with hand stitches and without any interfacing to stiffen or sturdy them. it's really so delicate and soft that i need to be extra gentle when stitching them up especially the windows, curtains and the panels. so, they are extremely fragile to be handhold. this is what w o r r y i n g me :( at the end, the felt houses are perfected in real and in pictures after i had carefully shaped every angle and sides and awnings and all the windows and panels which can be open. but like i said all of these would be easily distorted if you're not gentle enough. i'm already having scary thoughts imagining it being taken out from the box and the windows and door were opened a little bit harder and the shape were slightly distorted/bend and when the person shoot me a photo of it , i'm sure going to be crazily hysterics *o* desperately want to save reshape it with my own bare hands whenever possible! and this is what i don't like at all. i want the new owner to be satisfied and happy with it as same as how joyful i was when making it and seeing it completed. just to be fair and square and describing my craft in honesty. i've been thinking about having it display in a shadow box... (am i too much?)!

well, i may include this as well :) lol

*to be applied to all my felt craft*

well, after all the worrying and doubts, everything still has its first. since the little pasture already well trimmed, guess i got to put little brownie in my little shoppe... :) yup! i'd decided to open an etsy. and that forced make me to create a little banner for it. i'm just so illiterate when it comes to creating with i.t and anything that comes to being high tech savvy :? so the same banner goes to my blog too :/

Oh, your little house is adorable! I can see how difficult it must be to part with it! Lucy x
P.S. can't wait to see your etsy! when will you be putting it on your blog?

This house it adorable!!! I love the colors. I worry, too, that I'm not there to take care of my creations for the people who buy them ... but they seem to do OK on their own. :) Maybe you could type up a little instruction sheet that says just what you said in this post.

"This little house is so happy to be living with you, but it's soft and fragile and needs special care. Before displaying, gently reshape the house so that it's walls are straight and proud ... "

You know, something like that. :)

That's really cute, I love it. And I LOVE the colors! I'm sure that whoever buys your house will take care of them. We're all harder on ourselves than anyone else is, so try not to worry too much. :) I'd buy one or two if I wasn't a "starving art student" right now! :D
