stamp carving

i've been working on a new bag and all the curves were making me a little dizzy... so i head off to a mall yesterday after sending ashley to school. just want to spend some time window shopping .. trying hard to keep the little cash in purse un-move. but when i came across this cheap set of blades, i think i might want to try something new :) stamp carving was always facinating to me. especially stamping on fabrics!! and seeing li li has so much fun in carving really tempting me to try too. and seeing all the tools from japan ; the special rubber material for carving.. the blades..and the cute ink cubes that come in so many colors !! really excited me! but of course all the yens are ..whoa~.. lol

so, i just settled with this blade and erasers for the time being :) ink is from the normal 'artline' stamp pad in violet.

looky here, i did made my own stamp! the carving was a bit tricky as i need to careful with all the small tiny spaces in between. i was a bit let down in half way coz my carving looked so blurred. i didn't even see clearly what i'd carved out. i just want to finish it with no expectations of a success attempt. but alas, with ink on it, the design begun to show. phew~

:)
