my first patch~

wow! my first attempt of piecing! its was great! i enjoyed it very much :} i don't intend to make a coaster or anything at all. i just want to try to piece as in quilting. everywhere i go, i see quilt! mini quilt, life size quilt or doll size quilt are mushrooming in blogs! and they are all so beautifully made. in colors combination, in hues or even in contrast, the result are magnificent. i really must try to make one :) but first, i need to learn. thanks to all the crafty bloggers out there who are so generous in sharing! like this scrappy cabin tutorial from melly & rosie!
